the other side of faith...

O Maker-Of-Dreams
In the darkness of night;
Show me which holy things
Will endure in the light.

For a longing you grant
And a dream that you make;
The seedling you plant
And the love that's at stake,

Your Faithfulness borrow
So always reside
Beyond my tomorrow
On Faith's other side.

And the resolute pilgrim
Who lets go of pride
Will awaken the dawn
On Faith's other side.

Sure sounds like it. Josh, you really need to claim those when you write them. They could appear anywhere, and you could lose out. It's not pride, it's recognizing and owning the talent God has given you. Good stewardship. BYW, the poem is beautiful.

It is a pastor josh original. Not that it matters. What does BYW stand for... By Yon Way? Just kidding. I am going to put a disclaimer on the bottom (when I get around to it) that anything not otherwise noted is copyrighted by myself, etc. Actually, if anyone wanted it bad enough to steal it, I'd be flattered. Nobody at church asked about it.

Beautiful to say the lest son. I still find it amazing the gifts God has given you. You must have a lot more pleasant dreams then I do. Mine are usually goofy... or I dream of you mom!

Do you have to work hard for these thoughts or do they just come? Thanks for putting them down for us to read.
